We have a team of over 80 highly motivated staff with various skills including coach and boat captains, certified eco-guides, naturalists, bird and orchid specialist guides, tour consultants, river and jungle guides, wildlife spotters among others.

Guests who do the optional night cruise at Sukau Rainforest Lodge receive a free Photo CD with 150 photos valued at RM75.00

6. On-time transfer
We guarantee on-time transfers for all our guests. Free T-Shirt will be given if there is a delay of 15 minutes for the airport arrival transfers.

7. Up to date equipment
We have a fleet of 21 modern air-conditioned coaches, vans, land cruisers, cars and we also own and operate our own speedboats and handcrafted wooden river boats. All night cruises are made possible with the technical advanced spotlight with its powerful spot-beaming capability of up to 1,000 ft.

8. No Compromise on Safety
All open sea speedboats are equipped radio communication equipment, which means they are never out of communication with our office in Sandakan. In addition all boats are equipped with life jackets which it is compulsory to wear and our coaches and vans are equipped with safety belts.

9. Resources
With our years of operations and experience, we have accumulated a vast library of resources from postcards, books, slides, digital photographs and promotional materials, equipment, vehicles, contacts all over Borneo to handle most requests. We even own our eco-lodge in Sukau and backpackers lodge in Kota Kinabalu.

10. Community Benefits
Borneo Eco Tours has a policy of helping local communities. Three such communities are the Kadazandusun of Kundasang, Rungus of Kudat and the Orang Sungai of Sukau. Together with Sukau Rainforest Lodge we contributed RM345,509.73 (as of Dec 2011) for our community and environment projects in Sukau, Matunggong, Kg. Kimihang and Kg. Desa Aman through our registered non-profit society, Borneo Ecotourism, Solutions and Technologies (BEST) Society. Since you only have our word on how good the Sukau Rainforest Lodge (SRL) is, we will take the risk for you by offering a Money-Back Guarantee (for internet booking only) if you are not satisfied upon arrival at the lodge. Please inform us immediately and we will return you to the port of embarkation at the earliest possible scheduled transfer and refund the cost of your Sukau tour.

13. Environmental Standards
We are a low impact tour company with our own "green policies" and Code of Practice. These include supporting suppliers including hotels and restaurants who respect the environment, support ecotourism education and training for guides, and employ guides who are well versed in local cultures and the environment

14. Emergency Evacuation Service
For trekking tours to Crocker Range and Maliau Basin we can arrange for emergency evacuation by helicopter, under guests insurance coverage, if necessary due to illness or fatigue.
