(BEST Society was set up ten years ago in 2007 by Borneo Eco Tours as a community development arm to implement various community and environment projects in Sabah and to alleviate poverty through capacity building and social entrepreneurship). The land, which will be known as Borneo Land Conservancy will be funded through raising funds of various means besides direct contribution from Borneo Eco Tours and Sukau Rainforest Lodge. Our MD Albert Teo and Assist. GM of Borneo Eco Tours, Sandakan branch Fernando Rulloda recently visited him at his office to present a plaque to Datuk Sam Mannan on his appointment as the latest Conservation Fellow member. One of the new villas will be named after him. And he joins the other twenty three Fellows on our Wall of Honor.
