Reducing and eliminating dependency on single-use plastic can be quite a challenge, but Borneo Eco Tours is up for it! As part of our movement to fight plastic pollution, we have distributed our stainless steel bottles to our team in hopes that they will make it a part of their lifestyle to refill their own bottles instead of having to buy and use plastic bottled water. We’re taking it a step at a time, but we can already see the change happening. Borneo Eco Tours is also supporting the Refill My Bottle initiative and together with our Sukau Rainforest Lodge and Kiulu Farmstay, we have signed up as Refill Stations. Even our vehicles come prepared with water containers for guests to refill their bottles. Besides that, our offices in Kota Kinabalu and also Sandakan have a\u00a0 “No Single-Use Plastic” policy which has been implemented since 2017.<\/p>\n

We hope that this movement will catch on and finally end the war on plastic pollution!<\/p>\n
