It was a dazzling night of amazing performances, delicious food and even more wonderful company at the recent Sabah Tourism Awards 2019<\/a>, which was held on 30 November 2019 at the Magellan Sutera Resort.<\/p>\n

The gala dinner celebrates the incredible work and contribution of various tourism industry players in the state of Sabah.<\/p>\n

There was a total of 15 categories and 33 awards that were presented that night.<\/p>\n

Out of all the amazing awards given out during the auspicious event, our Managing Director Albert Chin Kion Teo received the Special Minister Award in recognition for his milestone in developing social entrepreneurship through community and environment initiatives and projects.<\/p>\n

Our friends Clement Lee and Tham Yau Kong are also winners of the Special Minister Awards, which are remarkable individuals who have also contributed incredibly to Sabah’s tourism industry throughout the years! Congratulations and well-deserved indeed!<\/p>\n

The Special Minister Award which our MD received is yet another great achievement to add to Borneo Eco Tours\u2019 journey as a tour operator and pioneer in ecotourism. It is achieved through the sweat, passion and persistence as well as the dream which he had envisioned and worked hard to build over his 42 years of service in the tourism industry.<\/p>\n

We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has been with us throughout this journey especially communities and individuals who have and are working with BEST Society be it directly or indirectly. This would not have been possible without your part in all of this regardless of how small it might have been.<\/p>\n
