Dr. Wong took the time to visit our office to personally present the My Adoption Package to our Managing Directors, Mr. Albert Teo and Mr. Timothy Teo, in recognition of their adoption of the sun bear \u2018Bintang\u2019 through the non-profit arm of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bestsociety.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">BEST Society<\/a>.<\/p><p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-5183 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.borneoecotours.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/IMG_9-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"mangrove rainforest\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" \/><\/p><p>During this special meeting, Mr. Albert Teo, the Founder of BEST Society, delivered a heartfelt welcome speech, expressing his admiration for Dr. Wong\u2019s tireless efforts in conserving the endangered Bornean sun bears. It was a poignant reminder of the power of passion and community in protecting our wildlife.<\/p><p>Dr. Wong then shared his inspiring journey, filled with stories about sun bears and the challenges they face in the wild. He highlighted the difficulties encountered and the enduring hope for these remarkable animals.<\/p><p>As the event drew to a close, Mr. Albert Teo and Mr. Timothy Teo presented a mock cheque to Dr. Wong, symbolizing their ongoing support for BSBCC\u2019s mission through the My Bear Adoption Program.
