Hari Raya<\/em>, which literally means \u201cGrand day of rejoicing\u201d or Eid al-Fitr, is celebrated by the Muslim community in Malaysia and all over the world, to conclude the Ramadan holy month of fasting. This merry celebration is regarded as a person\u2019s triumph and success on discipline and self-resistance which symbolizes refinement and rebirth. This year, the celebration falls on the 6th and 7th of July, and it normally lasts for the whole month of Shawwal \u2013 the tenth month of the lunar Islamic calendar.<\/p>\n

As a national public holiday, Borneo Eco Tours\u2019 office will be closed on 6th<\/sup> and 7th<\/sup> July. Booked tours will be operated as usual. For any emergency please call 088-438300.<\/strong><\/p>\n
