Kota Kinabalu - Kinabalu Park

0800hrs – 1630hrs

Drive 2 hours overland to the foothills of Mt. Kinabalu at 1500m above sea level. Have a short stop at Pekan Nabalu market to savor local fruits that are in season. Visit the Kinabalu Geopark Gallery and Botanical Garden in Kinabalu Park Headquarters. If weather permits, take a guided walk on one of the trails in the cool surrounding to explore the montane forest, and return to Kota Kinabalu after.
