Sustainability Coordinator

This position is responsible to coordinate, facilitate, and advise the implementation and improvement of sustainability at Sukau Rainforest Lodge.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that store operations adhere to the sustainability practices of the lodge.
• Implement and monitor sustainability projects that are assigned to you.
• Be a part of the Sustainability Committee and organize activities/programs involving stakeholders.

Job Requirement

• Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Malay. Knowledge of Mandarin Chinese and/or languages of Sabah is an advantage.
• Good interpersonal skills along with project management skills, self-driven, professionalism, and analytical.
• Knowledge of and passion for sustainability, wildlife, and the environment.
• Experience in collecting, tracking, and conducting basic data analysis.
• Ability to synthesize complex information into graphs and tables for stakeholder discussions.
• Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
