Storekeeper

This position requires the candidate to manage day-to-day operations such as liaise with supplier and department concerned, to ensure competitive price and standard quality, and ensure proper administration and filings of the department.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify potential suppliers and obtain quotes or proposals for goods and services.
  • Evaluate supplier proposals in terms of quality, price, and delivery times.
  • Generate purchase orders (POs) based on approved requisitions.
  • Communicate with suppliers to negotiate terms, follow up on orders, and resolve any issues.
  • Assist in cost analysis and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to forecast inventory needs.
  • Adjust procurement plans based on demand and consumption trends.
  • Receive incoming shipments of goods and materials.
  • Maintain an organized and accurate inventory system, track stock levels, reorder points, and consumption rates.

JOB REQUIREMENT

  • At least 6 months - 1 year experience in the same role or any related field.
  • Positive and dynamic team player.
  • Active, energetic and willing to learn.
  • Accounting knowledge will be an added advantage.
