It's an award winning Eco lodge that's currently listed in the Top 50 best lodges in the world... I'm not surprised, it is fantastic! The lodge was on the banks of the river with its restaurant overlooking the water. Our room had a big window facing onto the jungle, and there was even a pool at the back. David Attenborough has stayed at this lodge on a number of occasions when filming for the BBC.

We really enjoyed our first time in Malaysian Borneo thanks to Borneo Eco Tours.
Our tour consultant was Cindy Edward, very kind, professional and helpful, as well as all the staff (guides, drivers, lodges staff) we met during the trip.
We arrived in Kota Kinabalu and stayed 2 nights at Le Meridien Hotel. The first day we did a trek on the Gaya Island and then snorkeling off of Mamutik Island’s beaches.
We organised a private bird watching tour to Kinabalu Park with Borneo Eco Tours and we saw some fabulous birds! Our guide Adrian was extremely knowledgeable and all in all we saw 33 species in one morning. The tour was very well organised and the staff at the tour company were great to deal with. Thank you again Adrian and Borneo Eco Tours, we'll be back and will certainly use you again!

Your guide will do his/hers utmost best to show you all the wonderful animals around.
Do keep it mind that you are in tropical forest, so it will be humid and there will be mosquitos and you will sweat a lot ;)

We spent four nights at the lodge and loved every minute of it.
Joy our guide was very knowledgeable and we saw all the big five apart from the rhino hornbill good reason to go back. It was great to be able to walk along boardwalk and look out for wildlife ourselves. We were fortunate that Lucky and Day the resident Orang Utans were in the trees above boardwalk for two of the days of stay so got good views of them. All the staff we
