It was easy to book and Cindy was very patient with my questions and delays. We were met at the airport with a clear sign and the Tour was exactly as planned - ONLY MUCH BETTER! We went to Selingan Turtle Island and saw turtles laying eggs, the rescuing and safe incubation of these and we stood in the evening with hatchlings flipping all around being released into the sea! Granted the rainforest is under huge pressure in Borneo, but where it does still exist I cannot think of a better way to see it than to travel with BET and visit the Sukau Rainforest Lodge. The whole experience is extraordinary. And it helps greatly if you're also lucky enough to get an extraordinary guide like Jamil.
We did the 4D3N Orang-utan Search tour and it was incredible, truly one of the best experiences of our lives. From start to finish all aspects of the tour were 10/10. All the guides were so friendly, knowledgable and spoke excellent English, special mention for our guide for the first two days Hamit.

Had a 3D2N in Sukau Lodge and enjoyed every minute of the stay. Staff and local guides are extremely helpful and informative about the rain forest Eco-system. You should definitely join the evening cruise as the wildlife will be more approachable. Local guides show us wild orang utan, Proboscis, Macaque, lot of different species of birds, namely Horn bills, kingfisher, etc. Accommodation is top class. Would definitely recommend it to friends.
The boat trips are like a live cinema of Kinabatangan wildlife. In our two-nights stay, we saw pygmy elephants, crocodiles, proboscis monkeys, snakes, plenty of beautiful birds, and one Orang Utan building the nest for the night. Walking in the jungle is an amazing experience but such open view of the animals is impossible - a stay on the river is the perfect complement to a trekking trip in the rainforest.
