Day 1

Kinabalu Park and Poring Hot Spring

We start our day with an early morning pickup from your Hotel before driving 2 hours overland to the foothills of Mt. Kinabalu at 5000ft. A brief stop at roadside stalls at Nabalu market where we'll browse local fruits in season and assorted handicrafts. A great place to take panorama photos of Mount Kinabalu before continuing our journey on towards Poring Hot Springs.

Upon your arrival, you'll be briefed by your guide with two options, either accompany the guide on a nature walk (550m) up to the canopy walkway or decide to have a dip in the Hot sulphur spring baths. Due to the limited time, you'll have to choose either one. After your activity, have a quick lunch at one of the few restaurants inside or outside the park or you can also bring along your own pack lunch. We'll meet together again at 1.30pm for our departure to Kinabalu Park.(Lunch at own expense)

There, we'll visit the Education Centre and Mountain Garden and if the weather permits, take a short stroll on one of the many nature trails. Learn about the wonderful flora of Kinabalu Park as your guide shares the many hidden delights you'll probably miss if you've come on your own. We depart Kinabalu Park at 3.30pm for our journey home, back to your hotel.
