5 Stars and a bag of chips!

This was hands-down, one of the best tour vacations I have ever done! Our guide, Paul was outstanding. He was helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. An absolute gem. This can also be said about all the wonderful people at Borneo Eco Tours from the bus drivers, the boat captains, staff at the lodge, etc. From start to finish this was a top-notch experience. The attention to detail was phenomenal from the pick up at the airport to the expansive knowledge of the guides. The lodge itself was beautiful and the food delicious. Come with an open mind. Nature is fickle and there’s no guarantee you’re going to see all the amazing animals from the forest but at the very least you’ll have a wonderful experience. I did see four of the big 5 though! I made core memories to last a lifetime and now I want to return to see the elephants. Thank you for treating your staff well because it shows in how they treat the guests. Well done all!!

Nature lover's dream

The whole tour was wonderful and very well planned and organized. They answered many of our questions before hand. Sukau Lodge was a great place to stay with clean, comfortable rooms and a very friendly staff. The many river safaris allowed to see a tremendous amount of wildlife. Unfortunately, the elephants weren't around in October. However, we did see many orangutans in the wild. The orangutan talk at 1:30 was informative and entertaining. Considering everything that was included in the price (transfers, accommodation, tours, food) it was very reasonable.

Fantastic experience

We had 2 nights at the Sukau Rainforest Lodge and then travelled to the Borneo Eco Lodge for 2 nights. Both were amazing. The staff at each was fantastic, we saw lots of wildlife - orangutan, crocodiles, birds, snakes, frogs, monkeys, lizards - only thing we missed were the elephants. The tour was really well organised with a good mix of time to ourselves but also being busy with trips on the river or hikes int he jungle.

Highly recommended for anyone who likes watching animals

We spent 3 nights at the lodge and loved it. We were impressed by the hospitality, perfect planning and the direct proximity to the wilderness. The accommodation is highly recommended.

Highly recommend combining both Lodges

Amazing experience and fantastic service from end to end. Clare helped us organise a great trip and was available to answer every question we had. We stayed at both Lodges and the transfers and organisation were seamless. Highly recommend.

Borneo Eco Tours 5 stars

We did the 3N4D tour spending 1 night in Selingan Island (aka Turtle Island), one of the most incredible experiences ever where you can admire the incredible work done by the rangers to preserve and protect turtles and allowing you admire closely the whole process of nesting, hatching and releasing baby turtles, always respecting the animals and advocating for their well-being. The other 2 nights we want to an amazing lodge in the middle of the rainforest, and no surprise they kept the same respect for nature and animals. We were able to spot 4 out of the big 5, crocodiles, orang utans, proboscis monkeys and different species of hornbills, only missed the pygmy elephants. The river cruises were magic and our trip guide was the best, thanks Lau for sharing so much knowledge and respect for nature.

Fantastic Company

My daughter living in Vietnam heard about this company through word of mouth. Whilst I am always wary about paying and booking tours with overseas companies as you here some horror, this was certainly not the case. We planned a weeks holiday travelling around Borneo, visiting a whole range of activities. All my planning was done through Cindy, who was fantastically helpful offering a range of options. Throughout our stay the service provided from everybody within the company was exceptional. Pick-ups, transport was all on time and the knowledge of the guides was outstanding. I would highly recommend this company.

Sukau Rainforest Lodge and Tabin Wildlife Reserve with Borneo Eco tours.

We booked 2N/3D Sukau Rainforest Lodge and 2N/3D Tabin Wildlife Reserve with Borneo Eco Tours and we were very happy with the whole experience. First of all, the booking procedure went very smoothly. They replied very quickly to all of our questions, they even gave us a little more time to pay our booking because we had troubles with our credit card limit, and they were very understanding when we had to postpone the trip last minute because our daughter broke her elbow. The trip itself was just perfect. All pick-ups from hotel/airport/lodges went smoothly and with clear communication from Borneo Eco Tours and the lodges. Our stay at Sukau River Lodge was unforgettable. Every day we did two or three cruises on the river. Especially with sun rise and sun set, the riverside is so beautiful and peaceful. We saw lots of Orang-utans, proboscis monkeys, all kinds of macaques, crocodiles, different kinds of hornbills, birds... We took so many beautiful pictures! Thanks to the guide and the captain of the boat who were able to show us all these animals. The food at Sukau River was delicious and lots of choices. The rooms '(superior) were nice, but not so big. After two days cruising on the river (what was just enough time overthere), we went off to Tabin. There we saw gibbons, monkeys, birds, water monitor lizards, snakes, frogs, ... and animals I don't remember the name in English :-) We walked trough the jungle a lot and also did safari's with a car. The guides at Tabin were really good. The know so much about the forest, we learned a lot! The kids (age 12 and 14) really loved this trip too. We were kept busy a lot, but had just enough spare time to be on ourselves too.

Adventure of a lifetime

Had a wonderful 2 week trip with Borneo ecotours. The trip included time in Sukau and Danum Valley and also summited Kinabalu. The VIP though was Brandon at head office. Always kept us informed and when I made some changes midway through the trip he was on the ball and accommodated all of our requests. Thank you for all your help Brandon.

Two days and three nights on the Kinabatangan River.

A super trip from the start at Sandakan. The speed boat to Sukau Forest Lodge was awesome. The night safari was fabulous. Dawn Safari was super. Our speed boat safari rides throughout our 2 night 3-day experience were breathtaking. The variety of wildlife which we saw and which was spotted by the guides was incredible. Our food, beverage, and accommodation were fabulous. The wilderness experience was humbling, captivating, and memorable. I can thoroughly recommend the package.
