Excellent tour....

Three of us took the SABAH WILDLIFE SAFARI 8D/7N with Borneo Eco Tours in September, 2023. The safari was very well organized. From the initial steps (Thank you Oviera Cyril) to the very end everything worked well. Everything was on time, accommodation and food was high quality. Our goal was to see orangutans and proboscis monkeys in the wild. This was easily achieved. We saw Proboscis monkeys on a daily basis in Sukau and Orangutans in Borneo Wildlife lodge. But we saw much more. All kind of exotic wild life and birds. Yes, we got bitten by leeches but it was certainly worth it. On the positive side there were hardly any mosquitos. Importantly, we always felt save and the staff was friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend Borneo Eco Tours. They know what the are doing.

Amazing wildlife tour seeing the Borneo Big 5!

Did a wildlife tour and river cruises for 4D3N. Loved our river cruises and our stay at the amazing Sukau Rainforest Lodge. Truly beautiful nature to marvel everywhere you look at. This was truly once in a lifetime type of trip for nature lovers! Highly recommended tour company, everything ran smoothly and professionally. Worth every penny!

Borneo Jungle and snorkeling adventure

Excellent organisation from trip preparation and personal advice to local support and transportation. Borneo is a fantastic place on earth, great for wildlife experience, snorkelling and diving! The only improvement area I can think about was the speed boat trip to Lankayan Island which was extremely fast and bumpy. We were constantly going at 50 knots (90 km/h) during 1,5 hours. It should be possible to limit the speed a bit which would make the trip a bit more comfortable.

We went to Turtle Island and to see the orangutans and stayed at the Sukau Rainforest Lodge- loved every minute and our guide Jimmy was with us every step of the way.

6D5N amazing wildlife experience

3 nights at Sukau Rainforest Lodge (Kinabatangan River) and 2 nights at Borneo Rainforest Lodge (Danum Valley) were nothing short of amazing. We booked online and process incl. payment was easy, and on the ground transportation and organization perfect. Our wildlife guides were approachable, knowledgeable, friendly and went above and beyond to make this memorable. We loved the river day and night cruises / safaris on Kinabatangan River, and we're lucky to see all of Borneo's Big 5. Both lodges were perfect, with great staff and food and nestled in the rainforest, so keep your eyes peeled as there is wildlife all around you. If interested, our itinerary was as follows: Flight to Kota Kinabalu, from there early morning flight to Sandakan where the tour starts immediately. Overland Transport after 3 days from Sakau lodge to Danum Valley Borneo lodge and after that, flight from Lahad Datu back to KK. From there, we had our own vacation planned and went to Brunei as well as George Town in Penang. Borneo Eco Tours Tool great care of us, emphasize on sustainability and makes for an experience of a lifetime. Orangutans in the wild and the diversity of fauna in Borneo is unmatched.

Amazing holidays

I Went for a couple vacation on Borneo and everything was great, they have all planned so you really don’t have to worry about anything. The drivers and guides were excellent.

Perfect organisation wonderful tour

Very nice experience, since the booking (just a few iterations to get a fine proposal) until last second of the tour. Professional approach in every aspect: tour guides are very prepared and available to any answer, all of them with a background in wilderness an local culture, transportations using only organisation vehicles with all comfort and super clean. Also in comparison with other operators met in the more touristic locations, definitely the top.

Wildlife vs existing and growing pollution

Not really sure if the electric engine for the boats do really exist to support the eco tourism appearance, we were told they are forced to use gasoline so long....if this is a ploy to attract eco tourists it should be observed River clean up of trash should flow in each river cruise Observation Not only once all 3 months, we should really take care for this left jewel of nature!!!! Very Friendly and helpful team, nice location to have jungle feeling

Absolutely in bucket list.

We have chosen the 4D/3N formula. We spent 1 day in Selingan Island and the orher days along the Kinabatangan River. In Selingan Island we joined the sea turtle experience, included the assisted egg released during the night. In the jungle we had several river cruises and we saw a lot of wildlife, like proboscis monkeys and hornbills. Our guide Yahya was very experienced and professional, and showed us several animals. He explained several topics as well. The Lodge was amazing and confortable, the food very tasty. We strongly recommend this experience!

Fantastic Borneo experience

We were really happy with all the services provided and arrangements made by Borneo Eco Tours. The email communication pre travel was efficient and very professional. Allyssa offered great assistance in booking both accommodation and transportation for us. We thoroughly enjoyed every single trip we had and all the guides were incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. We spotted so much wildlife in and around the rainforest lodge. Food at the lodge was also very tasty and there was always a good range of options. We would definitely be recommending Borneo Eco Tours to our friends in the future.
