Unforgettable experience

We had an absolutely amazing adventure with Borneo Eco Tours. We went on a 5D/4N tour visiting the Sepilok orangutan rescue center, Kinabatangan river (stayed at Sukau Rainforest Lodge) and the Tabin Wildlife Reserve. Booking the tour was very easy and Brandon was very helpful during the booking process. The tour was very well organized, we were picked up on time from our hotel, all transfers during the tour were organized for us and the staff was very friendly. During our stay at the Kinabatangan river, we did multiple river cruises (morning, afternoon and night) and saw many different animals, such as proboscis monkeys, silver and red leaf-monkeys, 4 different species of hornbill, kingfishers and crocodiles. At Tabin Wildlife Reserve, we stayed in the beautiful resort in the middle of the jungle and there were macaques and gibbons jumping through the trees above our lodge. Truly magical! Here, during several walks through the jungle and on afternoon and night drives, we saw two orangutans in the wild, different civets, owls and flying foxes. The guides at both locations were absolutely wonderful, they pointed out many different animals and birds to us, and taught us a lot about these parts of the rainforest. The best experience ever

Borneo Eco Tours, you have been amazing. From start to finish. I booked with Selestica who helped us plan our experience. She was patient and professional and made the process easy. We opted for 1 night Turtle Island and 2 nights Sukau Lodge. I have to say, it’s the guides that make these trips so special and we were lucky to have Jimmy who took us to the island and Jay/Joe Biden for the rainforest. The turtle island is a unique experience which we were impressed with the dedication of these guys in which turtles come first, humans are merely spectators, and rightly so. Amazing experience. Next we met Jay who is, by far the nicest most knowledgeable man we have met and he made the whole adventure so much more special. His energy and enthusiasm for all wildlife was contagious and he taught us so much. We come away from this experience feeling blessed to have met him and privileged to have shared his knowledge. We do have to mention Lee who gave the talk on orangutans. Lee I could have listened to you all day, the best, most entertaining talk ever. Everything was so well organised and Sukau lodges were fantastic…we even stayed in the lodge Judy Dench stayed in haha. We feel blessed to have done this trip, we saw loads, no rhino hornbill though, we met some lovely lovely people in our small group and our guides were awesome. Thank you Borneo Eco Tours for everything.

Nice experience

Safari with Borneo Eco tours was a nice adventure - we stayed for 3 nights although I think 2 is enough. Obviously these type of activities are a little tiring as you wake up at 5:30am to get on the boat at 6am for 3 hrs so to catch some animals in the morning. We saw 4 different types of monkeys, crocodiles (mainly baby ones), a small snake, many different types of birds, a small snake etc. However we were quite unlucky not to see the Pigmy elephants nor the Orangutans which was actually the 2 main animals we did want to see...However this is nature and one has to respect that. The tour itself and lodge were very well organised! Many thanks!

Excellent tour to see Borneo wildlife

Highly recommended Tour company. The guides (Mason and Jonathan) were very knowledgeable and engaging. All aspects of the tour and connections were well organised and managed. We stayed at Sukau Rainforest Lodge and Lankayan island, and visited Sepilok, Sun bears and RDC at Sandakon.

Fantastic adventure experience Borneo wildlife

We had an absolutely fantastic time in Borneo thanks to Borneo Eco tours. Oviera was so helpful when we were organizing the trip and helped us create the adventure we were looking for. Our tour guide Vincent was with us from Turtles to Rainforest. He was fantastic - great company and really helpful. Between him and Jesse, our driver, they knew so much about the rainforest and ensured we had a fantastic time. Their eagle eyes allowed us to see orangutans, pygmy elephants, flying squirrels, moon rats and many more animals on our safari. I would highly recommend Borneo Eco tours to provide you with a Borneo adventure to remember! We will be back to see more with this great company.

BEAUTIFUL BORNEO AND AWESOME PEOPLE!!

I had this tour company book myself starting in Sandakan and ending in Lahad Datu a 7 night-8 day 3 lodge wildlife private tour!These company knows Borneo!!3 nights at Sukau Lodge, 2 nights at Tabin Resort and 2 nights at Borneo Rainforest Lodge!IT WAS A AWESOME TOUR/SAFARI!!!!!!!!THANKS BORNEO ECO-TOURS!!!

Unique experience

We had a very nice time, with special and close up view of the Orang Utans at the lodge.The stuff was friendly and accommodating. The Villas give you more of a jungle feeling, if you have the choice.

Great experience overall with tinge of disappointmenmt

Lovely accommodation, food and staff.Wildlife, being wildlife can be unpredictable - sadly for us.Our guide seemed more interested in birds so we missed what another guides boat saw - a mother and young orangutang and clear views of an elephant herd - as we went off looking for birds (as it turned out) which we had already seen many of.Did see elephants - partly hidden, and an orangutangs hand and head the next day.Would love to try again but distance and cost probably rules it out.

Awesome organisation!

Multiple destinations and types of transport. All very punctual, friendly and immaculately clean. Guides very helpful and the drivers too.

Excellent overall organization

Excellent organization of our trip in Sarawak and Sabah. Good communication in the planning phase, prompt answers and efficient fine tuning of our program. Everything smoothly organized on site, with local guides ranging from OK to excellent. very good the visits to Sukau and Tabin Rainforest lodges. Its a pity at Sukau the rainforest trail was closed for maintenance, leaving basically empty the hours between the early morning and the afternoon river cruises... A part from this, all the activities were well planned and extremely interesting. The top of the whole vacation was the close encounter with two female orange outans (both with babies!) in the forest around Tabin lodge. Unforgettable!
