From arrival at Sandakan airport to our drop of at the airport - everything / EVERTYTHING was A1 - it was a truly memorable trip and made exceptional by our guide Hamit, along with all staff at the lodge etc

We did a 3 day/2 night tour at Sukau Rainforest Lodge and it was amazing. The lodge was beautiful, the food was excellent and our guide, Yunis, was fantastic at spotting wildlife and making sure we could not only see it, but get the best photos. He was great. It was a once in a lifetime experience. Also, shout out to the Sabah Hotel in Sandakan. I loved it.

We did a 3 day/2 night tour at Sukau Rainforest Lodge and it was amazing. The lodge was beautiful, the food was excellent and our guide, Yunis, was fantastic at spotting wildlife and making sure we could not only see it, but get the best photos. He was great. It was a once in a lifetime experience. Also, shout out to the Sabah Hotel in Sandakan. I loved it.

18th december til 22nd. Myself and my boyfriend booked the 4 nights 5 days tour including Sukau Rainforest Lodge, and Borneo Eco Rainforest Lodge in Danum Valley. Our tour guide, Vincent P, in Sukau lodge was amazing. He was very funny and knowledgeable and we were sad to leave him! Sukau was brilliant going along the river looking for wildlife, we saw so many Probiscis Monkeys, kingfishers, hornbills and many more. Our tour guide for Borneo rainforest lodge was Nicholas, and he was just as amazing, very friendly and great company. This is where we saw an Orangutan at the hotel garden and it was such an incredible moment!! Walking through Danum Valley is breathtaking. Definitely the best part of the trip. The view point and canopy walks are great and allow you to see how big the sacred rainforest is.
We are so so happy with our trip and memories will last forever.

We arranged for a one-day birding tour to KK Park, and we have had the most amazing experience! Master Tour Guide, Adrian, who has more than 20 years of guiding birding tours, did not disappoint. He was very passionate, patient, pleasant, accommodating, and friendly. He was also very generous with his knowledge and shared many of his personal stories with us. We felt very welcomed and very glad we were assigned to him! All in all, our experience with Borneo Eco Tours has been first class - right from the enquiry stage (Oviera) to the end of the tour.

The fee was reasonable and worthy of every cent. Sabah is truly the Land of the Sacred Mountain and friendly people. Love love love it!

We saw an abundance of wildlife including wild orangutans (one even swung past our villa window!), and rare wildlife such as red leaf monkeys, six species of hornbill, a golden silver-leaf monkey, flying lemur and more.
The accommodation was comfortable, staff were attentive and friendly, and the food was outstanding - remarkable, given how remote the lodge seems to be.
Get here now before crowds come back!

We had a wonderful three night tour and stay at the Sukau Rainforest Lodge - what an experience! Borneo Eco Tours did a fantastic job organising our transfers and accommodation and we enjoyed every element of our tour. The accommodation was wonderful and the chef at the lodge did a fantastic job in making sure that there were plenty of vegan options for us every day. We did have concerns that the message about our vegan requirements would not get through, but we were not disappointed - in fact, every evening the chef would bring out at least one extra dish for us that was vegan. Thank you!

On the wildlife tours we saw crocodiles, many rare birds, proboscis and macaque monkeys and orangutans. In fact, we were lucky enough to see orangutans feeding daily on a fig tree on the lodge site. Let's hope that the Government continues to take measures to ensure the protection and enlargement of these wildlife areas as to lose the wildlife would be a great loss for the local people, environment and tourists alike.
