We stayed two nights at Sukau and two nights at Utan with Borneo Eco Tours. We were well fed and well look after. Our guides Ned and Benedict were enthusiastic and knowledgeable, they really made the tour memorable. We were amazed by the the variety of wildlife we saw and information the guides shared. Highly recommend this experience to any animal or nature lovers. Thank you!

Really enjoyed the rainforest tour in Sukau and Utan lodge. Very well organised by Borneo Eco Tours.
Very professional organisation, perfect support from office, everything was perfect.
Amazing jungle activities, walking, safari vehicle, boat tours from early morning until evening. Very knowledgeble tourguides. Saw a lot of wildlife, even elephants !

We couldn’t have asked for more from the trip. Literally everything was taken care of. We were regularly kept informed about the schedule. The food was amazing. The knowledge of our guide Mason was outstanding, we learned so much from him.

This trip was brilliant from start to finish. We did the 3D2N stay at Sakau, getting picked up from our hotel in Sandakan and dropped at the airport afterwards helped us massively.
The trip was so well organised with activities to do when at the lodge, great food and fantastic accommodation - the only issue with our accommodation was that we were the furthest villa (V20) meaning we had to battle with the bats on our way to and from dinner in the dark! If we were to stay again I would definitely request a closer villa or room.
Our tour guide Yunus was brilliant, he was very attentive and made sure we were happy with plans and what we were doing, he was very knowledgeable and happy to accommodate everything we as a group asked! He also tried very hard to find animals on our river cruise which we really appreciated!!
We had such a great time for this once in a lifetime trip and couldn't be happier with the service we received and the knowledge we gained throughout the weekend!

What a fabulous trip with Borneo Eco Tours. The 15-day birding trip was more than expected, Adrian the birding/cultural/animal/flora/fauna and everything wonderful guide for Mt. Kinabalu area could not have been better, Vincent in Sepiloc has amazing guiding skills and a vast amount of knowledge (we loved his enthusiasm), Wei in Utan guided us through the muck of the wetlands (some really great sites and birds too), Gilvenn in Borneo Rainforest Lodge gave us hours of fun hiking, birding, and rafting. As retired nomads, we have traveled over many countries and continents, this was absolutely one of our favorite trips....way to go Borneo Eco Tours. We did feel the admin/booking team could be a bit more proactive, in the end, the 15-days were amazing, we would absolutely use their service again on our next trip.

Excellent planning and communication with the team before and during the trip to help us coordinate our schedule. We had a 4 day rainforest tour with Yahya as our guide who exceeded expectations! This was a girls trip to remember!

Absolutely fantastic trip. We did the 4d/3n orangutan search trip, staying at Sukau lodge. The wildlife was incredible and our guide Kazree was so knowledgeable and patient. One day, he spent 2 hours with us watching a mother orangutan with her baby at the lodge when we were supposed to be doing a nature walk around the boardwalk. He knew so much about their behaviour and conservation. He also spent ages one afternoon looking for the elephants for us and we stayed out a long time after the other tour boats had left. It paid off as we actually saw one- he never gave up on finding them for us and I think he was as excited as we were to find them. We also really enjoyed our tours and talks from Jan- he did the orangutan talk, it was informative and funny. Sukau lodge is beautiful and luxurious and the food and service is incredible.

One tip. It is worth asking/paying for your own private guide so you never get caught in a big group when sight seeing or animal hunting.
