We did the 3D2N experience in Utan Rainforest Lodge with my girlfriend and we loved it! The welcome was amazing. There were only few people so we felt privileged to do the activites with just our guide Ben. Ben was a very kind and motivated guide and all the informations he gave to us about the wildlife were really interesting. The food was really tasty and there were new dishes every day.

My husband and I had a fantastic time on our excursion into the Deramakot rain forests. It was the adventure we always wanted to experience in Borneo. Our guides were engaging, informative and adventurous. We saw snakes, birds, orangutans and a variety of small mammals. The food was great and the A/C in our accommodation a welcomed surprise.

We booked this trip based on reviews previously submitted. The communications were clear and our dates were secured. Leading up to our arrival it was sorted out for pickup and our schedule was set. We were picked up and we went for a visit to the orangutan rehabilitation Centre. The visit was thoroughly enjoyable with our guide Vincent guiding us through the Centre with his expert knowledge and easy rapport. Little did we know that Vincent would be our guide for our stay. After our visit we proceeded to the marina for 100km trip to the resort. Both Vincent and the boat captain were both looking out for wildlife. We had. Several sightings, crocodiles, one orangutan, several hornbills. What an exhilarating ride. The lodge was really nice and everything was prepared for arrival, cool towels refreshments and our luggage was delivered to our villa. We. Were then on our first excursion Vincent was now our guide and boat captain. Each excursion revealed more animals. Food at the lodge was more than satisfactory. Our accommodations were comfortable and immaculately clean. Each day started early and had optional briefings after lunch. One seminar given by Suhaile (Mincho) was so enjoyable his multi-media presentation and abilities to imitate orangutan sounds was something not to miss. This adventure was something we had planned for a year. We couldn’t have asked for better result.

We recently completed a 4-night, 5-day trip with Borneo Eco Tours, staying at Sukau Rainforest Lodge and Utan Rainforest Lodge. The entire experience was brilliant from start to finish.
A huge highlight of our trip was the quality of the guiding. Ashraff at Sukau and Sam at Utan were both exceptional. They didn’t just point out animals; they provided deep context and information about the environment and the itinerary. They were even able to answer our more complex questions regarding local society and culture, which added so much value to our stay.
The logistics and facilities were top-notch:
• Accommodations: The rooms at both lodges were very comfortable and well-maintained.
• Dining: The food was (very!) good throughout the trip.
• Atmosphere: The overall vibe was incredibly friendly and welcoming.
We had a fantastic few days in the jungle. Thank you for the memories—we hope to come back!

We did a 3 day 2 night tour with this company staying at Sukau River Lodge. We couldn't fault the organisation or experience - everything was delivered as promised and we loved staying at Sukau. The rooms and restaurant by the river are really unique.

We were lucky to see 4 of the Borneo Big 5 animals.

We'd definitely book through this company again.

While the Borneo five we saw and the rainforest (the canopy was just so spiritual) made us constantly in awe, the people (especially our very professional, knowledge and passionate guide Karzee) made the whole experience extraordinary. You could really feel that the people loved the nature so much. Full of gratitude to BET :)

The confirmed trip was pick up from Sandakan, visit Sepoloc and Sun Bear centre, boat trip to Sukua lodge (3 nights) and then on to Dannum Vally for two nights..
Both lodges (accommodation, food, staff and activities) were excellent and all transfers worked smoothly.
Wildlife spotting was great with several sightings of orangutans as well as many others including pygmy elephants, king cobras, rhinoceros hornbills etc
Highlight was a very close encounter with an orangutan on a narrow river section near Sukua lodge.

Borneo Eco Tours have been nothing short of amazing. From the transfers - which ran as efficiently as a Japanese Shinkansen train, to the friendly and experienced staff, we had an amazing time.

As it was off peak we had personal safaris on some days and were also blessed with great weather and awesome sightings. I love the sounds and smells of the rainforest! The guides know their stuff.

Highly recommend Sukau Rainforest Lodge, which is not only lovely, it also supports local uplift employing 80% of staff from the local villages. Much love from Melbourne. We will be back.

Borneo Eco Tours have been nothing short of amazing. From the transfers - which ran as efficiently as a Japanese Shinkansen train, to the friendly and experienced staff, we had an amazing time.

As it was off peak we had personal safaris on some days and were also blessed with great weather and awesome sightings. I love the sounds and smells of the rainforest! The guides know their stuff.

We were part of a tour group of 15 that started in Kota Kinabalu. Our guide Eddie was great and helkped look after us when my wife got a bout of Gastro. It all worked out however they had some plans in place if things went south. He even earranged a visit to a doctor. We were then handed over to Fernando and went to Sandakan. We did the normal visits to Sepilok and Labruk Bay which were very good but the highlight was teh three nights we spend at Sukau Lodge on teh Kinabatangan RIver. We were looked after extremenly well. The food was fabulous. Rooms were very comfortable and teh tours on the river were managed well. Saw some great wildlife.
