Our MD Albert Teo and Assist. GM of Borneo Eco Tours, Sandakan branch Fernando Rulloda recently visited him at his office to present a plaque to Datuk Sam Mannan on his appointment as the latest Conservation Fellow member. One of the new villas will be named after him. And he joins the other twenty three Fellows on our Wall of Honor. A copy of Authentic Ecolodge written and published by another Conservation Fellow, Hitesh Mehta was also presented to Datuk Mannan.

Datuk Sam hit the headline recently in London when he made the announcement on behalf of the state government that it will cancel the proposed second bridge across Kinabatangan River which will effectively cut across the Sanctuary and affect the migration route of the Borneo pygmy elephants which are a big draw to eco-tourists.
