It was a weekend well spent by eight of our team members as they took time out of their busy schedules to volunteer at the 2017 World Play Day at Kg. Tinangol, Kudat on the 20th of May 2017. The event was organized by Malaysian Care and a total of 80 volunteers and over 600 children participated in the event. Those who joined in the fun were individuals of all ages, different races, background and ability.

It was a definitely a great and wonderful experience for our team members who volunteered for World Play Day 2017, and definitely one that is memorable too.

World Play Day (WPD) is an international event celebrated over 25 countries to highlight the benefits of playing and having fun. WPD was first started by the International Toy Library Association and today, the association still widely promotes the event. Both children and adults spend time to relax, play and interact with one another during WPD through various games and activities. WPD also promotes healthy growth of individuals in simple, self-motivated activities of one’s choice.

We are glad to have been a part of such an occasion and we hope to be able to participate and volunteer in more programs like this in the near future.
