The luxurious Borneo Rainforest Lodge is nestled within the remote expanses of Danum Valley, and makes for the perfect sweet escape in the wilderness of Borneo. Danum Valley is named as Sabah’s second UNESCO World Heritage Site and this undisturbed ancient tropical rainforest is home to over 120 species of mammals, which 10 are primate species including the vulnerable orangutans, as well as large mammals such as the Borneo pygmy elephants, Bornean sun bear, clouded leopard and many other wildlife wonders!

In order to access this jungle paradise, you will need to drive from Lahad Datu to the award winning lodge, which will be an adventure in itself. The ride will be bumpy, but rest assured that it will also be a comfortable one, with stops along the way to check out some exotic flora and fauna before arriving to your destination.
Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by the smiling faces of the lodge staff who will welcome you with a refreshing drink and a fragrant pandan garland around your neck before you head to your room to settle down and freshen up for the day’s activities.

Your time in Danum Valley will be decorated with exploring nature trails and trekking the jungles of beautiful Borneo to spot birds and mammals, and stopping at a waterfall for a nice cooling dip in the rock pools. At night, be treated to a night drive to spot the nocturnal wildlife in Danum Valley.

The Deluxe Chalets is a more spacious option that’s suitable for guests with children, and has an outdoor deck and a tub to dip into for a refreshing cleanse after your time spent in the great outdoors. There are two Deluxe Chalet variations for you to choose from, which is the Jungle View and the River View.

Borneo Rainforest Lodge recently completed its 10 units of Premium Deluxe rooms. This room type has a more modern touch to it with glass windows and a spacious balcony with a small private pool where you can enjoy the river scenery in sheer comfort. The twin-bedded room is most suitable for a family group of up to 5 persons.
The single storey and double storey Premium Villas on the other hand, are a whole level of comfort and luxury. Most suitable for those who want to experience pure luxury in the heart of Borneo’s rainforest, the villas are incredibly spacious, with its own private infinity pool, and a balcony with a panoramic view of such amazing natural wonders.
