Had a wonderful 2 week trip with Borneo ecotours. The trip included time in Sukau and Danum Valley and also summited Kinabalu.
The VIP though was Brandon at head office. Always kept us informed and when I made some changes midway through the trip he was on the ball and accommodated all of our requests.

We saw lots of wildlife on our trip, spending two nights at the Sukau Rainforest Lodge and another two at the Danum Valley Field Centre. This offered different experiences, neither of which we'd want to miss!

The guides were knowledgeable, friendly and professional, as well as wonderful with our kids.

The trip was very well organised and communication was excellent - we felt in safe hands, including during the transfers.

Our verdict: Highly recommended!

We saw lots of wildlife on our trip, spending two nights at the Sukau Rainforest Lodge and another two at the Danum Valley Field Centre. This offered different experiences, neither of which we'd want to miss!

The guides were knowledgeable, friendly and professional, as well as wonderful with our kids.

We enjoyed our time in Borneo very much! The accommodations were very comfortable and clean, the food was adequate and our guides were outstanding. From start to finish the trip was well organized and everyone went out of their way to see to our comfort. We saw 4 out of the Borneo 5, all we missed were the elephants. We would definitely recommend the trip!

A super trip from the start at Sandakan. The speed boat to Sukau Forest Lodge was awesome. The night safari was fabulous. Dawn Safari was super. Our speed boat safari rides throughout our 2 night 3-day experience were breathtaking. The variety of wildlife which we saw and which was spotted by the guides was incredible.
Our food, beverage, and accommodation were fabulous. The wilderness experience was humbling, captivating, and memorable. I can thoroughly recommend the package.

A super trip from the start at Sandakan. The speed boat to Sukau Forest Lodge was awesome. The night safari was fabulous. Dawn Safari was super. Our speed boat safari rides throughout our 2 night 3-day experience were breathtaking. The variety of wildlife which we saw and which was spotted by the guides was incredible.

My daughter living in Vietnam heard about this company through word of mouth. Whilst I am always wary about paying and booking tours with overseas companies as you here some horror, this was certainly not the case. We planned a weeks holiday travelling around Borneo, visiting a whole range of activities. All my planning was done through Cindy, who was fantastically helpful offering a range of options. We did a 4 night/3 day Kinabatangan River Tour to the Sukau Rainforest Lodge. This was easily one of the best tours we have ever been on. From the time our guide picked us up at our hotel in Sandakan until we were dropped back off when the tour ended everything was flawless. The guides, captains and hotel staff were all so kind and professional. The food and rooms were well above our expectations. The area behind the lodge was incredible as we saw all kinds of wildlife including orangutans right there on the property. The boat cruises on the river were magical and we saw so much wildlife due the hard work our guide. I can highly recommended this company as it was money well spent. They also made the booking process easy and stress free.

We booked 2N/3D Sukau Rainforest Lodge and 2N/3D Tabin Wildlife Reserve with Borneo Eco Tours and we were very happy with the whole experience.

First of all, the booking procedure went very smoothly. They replied very quickly to all of our questions, they even gave us a little more time to pay our booking because we had troubles with our credit card limit, and they were very understanding when we had to postpone the trip last minute because our daughter broke her elbow.

The trip itself was just perfect. All pick-ups from hotel/airport/lodges went smoothly and with clear communication from Borneo Eco Tours and the lodges.
Our stay at Sukau River Lodge was unforgettable.
Every day we did two or three cruises on the river. Especially with sun rise and sun set, the riverside is so beautiful and peaceful. We saw lots of Orang-utans, proboscis monkeys, all kinds of macaques, crocodiles, different kinds of hornbills, birds... We took so many beautiful pictures! Thanks to the guide and the captain of the boat who were able to show us all these animals.
The food at Sukau River was delicious and lots of choices. The rooms '(superior) were nice, but not so big.

After two days cruising on the river (what was just enough time overthere), we went off to Tabin. There we saw gibbons, monkeys, birds, water monitor lizards, snakes, frogs, ... and animals I don't remember the name in English :-)
We walked trough the jungle a lot and also did safari's with a car. The guides at Tabin were really good. The know so much about the forest, we learned a lot!

The kids (age 12 and 14) really loved this trip too. We were kept busy a lot, but had just enough spare time to be on ourselves too.

We loved both Sukau and Borneo Rainforest Lodges ( such friendly staff ) and saw lots of wildlife including Orangutan ,Proboscis monkey,Macaque,Langur,Civet,Sambar Deer, Crocodile, Hornbills ( including the Rhinoceros).
The guides were amazing ,willing to accommodate the interests of each group, allow us time to view the wildlife and even prolong a trip if they spotted something interesting. Their spotting skills were incredible.
The river cruise along the Kinabatangan river is accessible to all and we were lucky enough to see lots of animals/birds.
Borneo Rainforest Lodge is very luxurious and the views/food excellent.
The guide was very understanding and allowed us to walk at our own pace. We were put in a group of similar ages ( we are both fairly fit 69 year olds).
Harder to spot wildlife in the Danum Valley,but we were lucky to see a good variety and different species from the river cruise .
The booking/ arrangements were smoothly made by Brandon,despite the time difference here in the UK.

Unfortunately, the elephants weren't around in October. However, we did see many orangutans in the wild. The orangutan talk at 1:30 was informative and entertaining.
