We have recently completed a three night stay at the Sukau Rainforest Lodge with Borneo Eco Tours. I can’t speak highly enough about the organisation, accommodation, friendliness and service we received from such a professional company. We would recommend the three night stay because of t he amount of opportunites we saw to see so many different types of wild life. We were fortunate enough to see four out of the big five on our stay.A couple of tips, stay in a villa if possible and make the effort to attend the nature walk and the orangutan information talk. All in all a brilliant trip

We are a family of 3 with a 9 year old who is an avid birder and we opted for the the 3d2n Kota Kinabalu birding trip with Borneo Eco Tours. Right from the booking process we were impressed with the prompt response and professionalism of the tour company.
Our guide was Mr. Adrian, a master guide indeed. His local knowledge and ability to spot even the most elusive birds was truly astounding. And it was a pleasure talking with Adrian about everything from cuisine to local culture and history. He made this a truly unforgettable experience especially for our son.
We are also extremely glad we had Raydo as our bus captain. He was so patient and pleasant and even helped spot birds :)
All in all we had an amazing trip and we will definitely be back for more.

Even in the rain (we had one downpour) the river cruise was lovey. We saw all but the elephants. Lodge was really good with comfy bed, good shower, clean and lovey setting. Would definitely recommend.

We did a day trip to Kinabalu NP and the tree canopy walk. We got picked up from our accommodation on time and the van was very comfortable. The guide was very knowledgeable and spoke good English. He provided information on the drive up to the park on Borneo in general, some of the history and what to expect during the tour.
We stopped at a view point and local markets on the way. The tour around the park botanical garden, the hall and trail was an easy walk and the guide was able to point out a lot of interesting facts about the plants and able to identify birds we saw and heard which was great. The lunch that was provided as very good and catered for myself as a vegan.
The canopy tree top walk was really good. Great view over the forest and surrounds and saw/heard more birdlife and saw a pygmy squirrel which was great.
Very organised company and friendly. Would recommend for any type of traveller.

My partner and I did the 3D2N Kinabatangan Wildlife Safari by boat and it was a truly memorable experience. Everything from pick-up, meals, transfers, the villa and activities was perfectly organised. Our guide, Vincent P, made the whole trip great - he was very knowledgeable and truly passionate about the wildlife and making sure everyone got a good glimpse of all the animals and birds we saw.

The location of the lodge is also fantastic- waking up to a group of proboscis monkeys on your roof is a very unique experience! We also attended an Orang Utan talk in the afternoon which was super interesting. All the staff, drivers, boat crew were also fantastic.

I would highly recommend the company to anyone looking to visit Borneo!

We loved our stay with Borneo Eco Tours! The stuff was incredibly friendly and always helpful. We did the Borneo Wildlife Tour and it was a great experience. The lodges were luxurious and the Tabin rainforest is a must for birdlovers.

We wanted to eksplore the most possible on our 1 week in Borneo/Sabah without using a lot of time on planning how to get arround. Therefore we chose a compact journey with Borne Eco Tours visiting Kota Kinabalu, Mount Kinabalu, Turtle Island, The Orang Utan sanctuary at Sepilok and 2 nights at the Sukau Rainforrest Lodge. Everything was well planed and executed and the guides were amazing and well educated. All 4 days in Sandakan we had the same guide, and he took care of everything. We saw 4 out of the big five of Borneo (in the wild) thanks to the knowledge of the guide. The Lodge was perfect for a stay in the Rainforrrest - even with a pool. We absolutely recommend Borneo Eco Tours as a responsible and reliable travelpartner
